| slamp Since SLAMP's inception in 1994, the Rome based company has dedicated its efforts to create lights with character, lights that bring a flash of artistry to any project. All the light fittings embrace energy saving lamps and apply advanced materials such as opalflex and cristalflex. There is avery close collaboration between SLAMP and its pricipal designers ; Nigel Coats, Stefano Papi, Luca Mazza and Adriano Rachele. They are the creative force behind the company. |

| flos Flos, again, blew everyone away with there incredible stand at Euroluce 2009. Not only the concept of the stand but also the introduction of the novelties were a definite highlight of the fair. Only the biggest names in the design industry and the most innovative new-comers ( all selected by Piero Ghandini, CEO of the family owned business) have the honour to contribute to the Flos brand. | prandina Prandina has shown at Euroluce that they are not limited to only producing light fittings of mouth blown glass. They have invested a lot into research of new materials that have similar lighting qualities as glass. The versatility of those new materials has resultat in new designs. Indoor and outdoor lights of 'serious' quality with a 'playfull' approach. |

| oluce At this edition of Euroluce 2009, chandeliers are the most thought out kinds of lighting equipment. The theme may be approached in more than one way: chandeliers as sculptures, as ludic items, as quotations. Antonia Astori and Nicola de Ponti have now developed for oluce a completely new approach: in their own hands, chandeliers become a "system". A transparent and regularly pierced methacrylate tray (called "plateau") holds casually-placed opaline glass globes. Its many electric wires - usually not considered from a planning perspective - climb up to the top, creating an aerial sculpture and thus becoming part of the design of the entire object. |

| luceplan Incredibly light and easy to assemble, HOPE represents the magic of traditional lamps, reinterpreting them with sophisticated technologies and contemporary materials. A series of thin polycarbonate fresnel lenses multiply the light from the light source, recreating a pleasant, glittery and party-like atmosphere, sprinkled with thousands of shards of light like the diamond which inspired the name : HOPE (design : Francisco Gomez Paz / Paolo Rizzatto). |
